This offering is for a very rare Blue Wisteria Art Pottery double handled vase or jardiniere made by Roseville in the 1930's. This is truly an exquisite piece of Roseville,,the colors muted yet vibrant cause the wisteria blossoms and leaves to look as though they want to jump off the vase. This is a genuine example of the effect art pottery is supposed to have on the admirer. I have provide lots of pictures that I hope help to illustrate my description. The Blue Wisteria pattern is considered to be one of Roseville's most desirable lines and has now become very difficult to acquire. This vase or jardiniere measures 4&1/8" tall and 6"wide ( handle to handle) and 4&3/8" across the top. This gorgeous vase is in exceptional condition, the exterior is near mint with no chips, nicks, cracks, or noticeable crazing,,the interior is in very good condition with only light, nearly indiscernible, crazing,,,,t is a patch of a hard clear gloss glaze in the inside bottom that may have been applied during the creation by the manufacturer or could be a clear acrylic glue that was used to hold a flower arrangement ( I am really not sure). I only mention this for description accuracy as it truly does not detract from the value or displayability of this rare art pottery. I am starting this auction with a low opening bid for this fine piece of pottery--way below its appraised value. Good-luck! Very nice Roseville art pottery, that would make a fine addition to an existing Roseville or Wisteria collection. Please Check out my other items ! I have up for auction,,, t just might be something t that would be of interest to you. Thanks
