Rare Royal DOULTON Kingsware Candle Holder Foxhunting

Please note all white marks are from my camera flash.This super rare Doulton Kingsware candle stick holder is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It measures a large 9 3/4" (25cms) tall and the base measures 6" (15cms) across. On the underside is the Royal Doulton England stamp with "0" underneath. I believe this date the candle holder to 1914. Of course being from the same series as the famous Kingsware whisky flasks these pieces are very collectable and hard to obtain. The candle holder features a fox hunting scene. On the front is a hunter blowing his horn calling three foxhounds to the hunt. On the back t is one foxhound as the main design and at the top two riders on horseback in the distance. The side handles are the branches of an overhanging Oak tree. A great opportunity for any serious Doulton collector. I have also listed more rare and unusual Doulton pieces. Good luck with your bidding. Check out my other items !
