This a rare Schrade Cut Co knife with staged celluloid handles and spear/pen blade combination. The spear is marked with Schrade Cut Co Walden NY and the pan blade has the 3 patent dates - '09; '10 and '16. The handles are beautiful with no chips or cracks. The knife is 3 5/8 in. closed. Both blades are used but not abused. Both blades sit high when closed. Everything works as it should. The pen blade opens fully with a fast, complete press. According to Mark Erickson's book, "Schrade didn't start using these handles until the late 1940's so they are hard to find." See the Pictures for detail. Please ask questions before bidding.
