THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL EMPRESS DRESDEN FLOWERS by SCHUMANN/BAVARIA BOX WITH LID. This pattern is decorated with a beautiful multi-colored floral pattern with gold trim and filigree. The edges are embossed with a raised pattern underneath the decoration. This pattern is no longer available; it was manufactured from 1945-1981. This is a wonderful lidded box; it measures 6" by 4.25" by 1.5" T is a small chip at on corner of the lid (4mm). The base is marked with a crowned crest containing a lion and "Schumann Bavaria Germany US Zone EMPRESS 763". If you enjoy this pattern, I have many other pieces.
