An MUSEUM QUALITY exquisitely detailed Die-Cast replica of a late 1960's childhood icon! This museum quality 1/6 scale Die-Cast Pea Picker Krate bicycle replica is a very difficult collectible to find. The Stingray Krates were designed after the dragsters and muscle cars of the late 1960's and were the bikes that every kid dreamed of. Today they are the hottest thing going in bicycle collecting. Hand crafted and superbly detailed in every way, this little Sting-ray has the following functional features: pedals rotate to turn rear wheel, moveable Stik-shift, working seat shocks, functional kick stand, adjustable butterfly handlebars and turnable/functional springer fork. It is approximately 10" long & 6" tall to the top of the seat. The frame, fenders, handlebars, shifter and chain guard are metal. The seat is actually covered in vinyl with the triple stripe and "S" just like the original. The tires, chain, pedal blocks and handlebar grips are rubber with the remainder of the parts being chromed plastic. Make no mistake, t is nothing else like these beautiful Die-Cast Krate bike replicas out t Even the original box is in near mint condition. It was produced by Xonex in a limited edition of 10,000 pieces in 1993 and sold out almost immediately. This model seems to be even more rare than the Orange Krate, Lemon Peeler or Apple Krate. It would make an excellent investment for Krate bike and Die-Cast collectors alike. It comes new in box with all original packing and certificate of authenticity included. A great conversation piece! Low, low opening bid and NO RESERVE. Email any questions An MUSEUM QUALITY exquisitely detailed Die-Cast replica of a late 1960's childhood icon!
