for auction is a really gorgeous compote made by Northwood Glass Co. The interior pattern is Blackberry, the exterior is Daisy and Plume, and the color is Aqua! The condition is excellent! I examined the bowl very carefully and found some roughness on the exterior of the legs. One is a small chip which the last photo shows with a smaller nick to the right of it. The ends of the legs are fine! T is a line across one leg near the top of it that probably is a straw mark (It does not go into the glass). T are a lot of tiny bubbles in the glass that also shows in the pictures. T is the underlined N in a circle in the bottom of the bowl. The compote measures 8 1/4" in diameter and stands about 4 1/4" tall on three graceful legs. This compote is described in the book "Harry Northwood The Wheeling Years 1901-1925 on page 78. The irridesence is soft pastel and beautiful. The soft color of the glass is great! This compote is really fantastic!!! I have tried to describe this item as best I can. If t are any questions, please ask me. Buyer is to pay all packing and shipping charges. I will accept PayPal, check, or Money Order on domestic sales and will ship internationally only if PayPal is used.
