VINTAGE MING'S PREBAN IVORY Hand Carved & Painted Shell Ginger Earrings Signed Sterling Silver One Earring Signed Ming's Honolulu in Black Ink Other Earring Signed Ivory Shell Ginger in Black Ink One Stamped Ming's on Leaf Back Both Stamped Sterling on Screw Hand carved and painted set of the Rare Shell Ginger flowers. Each blossom is in excellent condition with NO CHIPS NO CRACKS and No FLEA BITES!! The ivory stamens in each ginger flower are tipped with orange and beautifully carved. They are aprox 2 inches long from tip to tip and about 1 & 1/4 inches wide. The back of each earring is clearly stamped sterling and the word Ming's is stamped on the back of one leaf. On the back of one Ivory flower is written Ming's Honolulu in black ink and on the back of the other is written Ivory Shell Ginger. This set has no damage whatsoever . It does need to be cleaned These are my mom's earrings and she is 90+ years old. They have been in her jewelry box for a few decades now and need to be cleaned but NOT BY ME!! Too delicate for me to fool around with. I grew up in Hawaii and w ho would have thought the name Ming's which was just a store in the old downtown Fort Street Mall my mother and sister shopped at regularly, would have become such a phenominum!!
