RARE Singer Featherweight
Thread Cutter & Gripper
Very RARE Thread Cutter & Gripper for the Singer sewing machine Model 221, 221K, and Free Arm 222K,
or Singer Featherweight Free Arm , which is a Thread Cutter & Gripper.

If you own one of these machines, you must have this Thread Cutter and Gripper!

Apparently, it attaches on the Presser Bar by loosening the presser foot screw, and is used to cut threads at the end of stitching. This is an original Singer Part with "161585 SINGER GR BRIT" engraved on the part above the spring which holds the threads.
Attached at the longitudinal edge of the spring is a tiny razor blade to cut the thread.
Made from chromed steel.

Part is in excellent condition.
