Offering a SET of 4 Rare & Early BROWN transferware plates from the desirable U.S. Historical Scenes. These plates have a scalloped edge with a VERY DARK brown line around the border. In the center of each plate t is a wonderful brown transferware scene. I am describing these items as plates but they have an interior rim so they might be shallow dishes or bowls ??? Size: of each plate is 6 3/4" in diameter. The pattern is titled: "The Residence of the late RICHARD JORDAN NEW JERSEY" and was manufactured by Joseph Heath & Company, Staffordshire, circa 1828-1841. This is nice old Staffordshire pattern and very collectible !! I show a photo of EACH plate ~ front & back. Condition...on 3 plates t are no chips, cracks or repairs BUT t are brown discoloration spots front and back & pit~glaze marks....also 1 of these plates has a dark manufactures paint/ink smear on the white border ( on the 2 o'clock position ). Condition of the 4th plate...t is a 1/4" x 1" chip on the front edge & a 1/8" diameter pit mark ( on right side in between trees & sky ), t is a 1/2" arch craze/shrink line ( on the 3 o'clock position ), plus rough pit marks, this plate has alot more discoloration ~ no other chips, cracks or repairs. These 4 plates will make a nice addition to your Antique Staffordshire collection !! Shipping in the USA is $8.95 with optional insurance & discount shipping offered. Thanks for viewing...Linda
