Up for auction is this wonderful sterling silver collapsible travel cup with its original case made by THE WATROUS MFG.Co.located in Wallingford, Connecticut. Started in 1896, it was one of the original companies that formed the International Silver Co. in 1898. The cup is 2-1/4 inches high with a diameter of 2 inches wide. It has a beautiful rim of silver beading around the top and a gold vermeil wash inside. The handle is extremely elegant. This was most probably used by a "gentleman" of its time. The original holder/box is intact. The condition is excellent.
