This is a lot of five pieces of Sterling Silver, believed to be at least unusual, if not rare. It consists of a heavy brush, 4 1/2 inches long and 2 3/4 inches wide, 1 3/4 inches high. Very ornately decorated with flowers. The side is marked; Jenkins & Jenkins Inc., Makers Sterling then a fraction above 1000 Fine Baltimore. The number over 1000 consists of three digits but I cannot read (but another piece is 925 over 1000). Also upon close examination with a glass I can see YOX lightly scratched on the brush. The brush has a small flat spot along the lower edge which does not affect the flowers in any way. It will not photograph. The flowers are raised very high making an impressive appearance. The soap shaving brush has a bend to the hairs which came from poor storage. These will probably straighten out with water etc.. The silver part is 2 7/8 X 1 3/4 at it widest. It too is heavy. Monogramed GW on the end. Marked Jenkins & Jenkins Inc Sterling (an unknown number) Fine. Needs polishing for a few dark areas. Very nice flowers and condition. Sterling Silver Shaving Mug or Cup. Just under 3 inches high and about 3 1/4 inches at its widest point. Very nice weight. Monogramed GW and retains an original paper sticker reading; Protected By Invicta Do Not Polish. The sticker covers the mark. I can see JE which obviously means the beginning of Jenkins Baltimore, Md. Beautiful raised flowers too. A couple of small dark places, nothing serious. Incredibly nice shaker or container of some sort. All raised flowers, 3 5/8 by 1 1/2 inches seriously heavy for its size. Base marked; Jenkins & Jenkins, Inc. Makers Sterling 925 over 1000 Fine Baltimore. Small dark spot or two for accuracy. Just a beauty. Second shaker, same size, same condition, retains an inside shaker for maybe powder. Invicta paper label on the bottom. Five excellent pieces, beautiful, great condition. Winner pays $18.00 for insured Priority Mail. Personal check or money order in 10 days of auction close or sale may be canceled. Thanks for bidding and please view my auctions for more sterling silver serving piece this week. I will have a lot of twelve goblet, a serving fork, spoon, and more.
