Rare Steuben Audubon Crystal Plate Wild Turkey c1940s History & Context Steuben Glass Works of Corning, New York was founded by Frederick Carder and T.G. Hawkes, Sr. The factory was later purchased by the Corning Glass Company. Description This wonderful crystal Steuben Audubon plate is copper wheel engraved with a wild turkey This piece is from a series of 21 bird plates produced by Steuben in the late 1940's and 1950's Each bird is an exact replica of the Audubon bird This plate is signed by Steuben and is authentic This piece comes with it's original felt protective bag Size: 10" dia.
