"The Dragon" 2nd Edition of the fabulous Creatures Series Inspired by the Chinese five-clawed Lung Dragon, a symbol of imperial majesty and eternal good luck!! Introduced only to Swarovski Collector's Society (SCS) members in 1997 and retired in 1997. The Dragon is 5 and one half (5 1/2) inches long and is hand-polished original design in full-cut Swarovski Crystal with stunning ruby-red crystal eyes. It is in MINT condition and comes with the original box/packaging. It also includes a booklet discussing the sagas, legends and supernatural powers said to be possessed by the dragon. Includes the original collector's display measuring 70 x 150mm (or approximately 2 3/4" x 6") - a superb wooden stand with "gold" braid trim on black & ruby red center to show the Dragon at its very best! About the Dragon : The highest ranking of all the Chinese dragons, the Azure Lung Dragon is a symbol of supernatural & infinite power in heaven. He is the Imperial Dragon & the spirit of life in one. He overcomes the powers of evil for the good of his people. His head faces south, and his tail points north. On his foot he carries the dragon ball called "Flaming Pearl" âe" the pearl of perfection & wisdom. He is said to make wishes come true!
