Revere Electric Clock. Telechron Motored. This one is pictured in the Jim Linz book, Electrifying Time. Page 178. In an old House and Garden Ad. This is model 618. This sold for a Whopping $55 in 1929! A hard to find Chiming model of the Revere-Telechron line. Nice Arts and Crafts, "beehive" design. Beautiful mahogany and burlwood case. The clock is completely original and in Outstanding condition for the age. NO damage anyw The case just needs a good clean and polish. As well, the lens and face. The clock runs, but runs slow.....just needs the gears cleaned and oiled. Original Telechron motor with nameplate attached. The brass holding the crystal is in excellent shape. The crystal is a tad loose. Crystal is in great shape, a few Slight scuffs. The door needs to be tightened...it fits in place well, though. The clock stands 12". The face says, REVERE HOUR STRIKE and TELECHRON MOTORED. The original Revere paperwork is still attached to the inside of the back door. This door has a very slight warp at the top, but shuts tight. All in all, this is a wonderful and rare clock. Shipping is $12. Packed SAFE! Thanks for looking!
