Rare Telefunken Allegro Superheterodyne Stereo Tube Radio - Parts or Fix! Up for auction is my Dad's old favorite Telefunken Allegro Tube Stereo Radio featuring AM, FM, SW1 and SW2. It has not been used in about 25 years. It definitely needs a new cap and the board that holds the fuse is slightly broken but you can still rig a fuse in t While checking it out I accidently put in a 4 amp fuse instead of a 1 amp fuse - bummer. It has a slight electric burn smell but I immediately shut it down. No tubes included in this auction - if you need the original mint Telefunken tubes I will sell them separately.As for physical condition - the veneer on the cabinet looks vintage after I polished it, but has that typical varnish crackling of older wooden items and has a slight chip as seen in the left view (a touchup marker should hide it well). It has it's share of tiny nicks and scratches but nothing offensive. The fabric grill is exceptional, especially considering the age. My dad was a freak about his things and it shows in its physical condition.
