Rare tenebrescent Hackmanite mineral in matrix of mable from Poudrette quarry, Mont St-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. Found twenty years ago ( 1985 ).
This Hackmanite mineral reacts at UV light at (LW) yellow to orange color.
At (SW) this Hackmanite mineral reacts in white, pink, purple, white blue and green colors.
The tenebrescence is dark magenta color. The fluorescence is stronger than (SW), after exposure at (LW) we even see it at day light and the tenebrescence is more deep after exposure at the sun.
Since December 2005 few minerals were found in Poudrette Quarry.
Good specimen for thematic or fluorescent and tenebrescent collection.
