RARE TEXACO KEROSENE 10 GAL. BULK CAN FROM THE 1930'S

I have a rare "Texaco" 10 gallon kerosene bulk can that was recently located in a old "Texaco" bulk plant. Containers like these were used to transport kerosene and oil to ranches and farms in outlying areas. The most common of these types of cans were the 5-gal. bulk oil cans, the 10 gal. kerosene cans are rare and date back to the 1930's when kerosene was in wide spread use on farms and ranches in rural areas. On occassion, the 10 gal. cans could be used for bulk oil depending on customer demand. Attached to the can is a "Havoline" gold 40 W oil tag. The can is approx. 26" high x 13" wide and weighs about 20lbs. The can could use some more cleaning after sitting in the bulk shed for the last 60 years. The lid is still attached (many of these get lost over the years) and the can is in very good condition with no damage. Notice the "Texaco" name embossed on the neck of the lid just below the top of the can. This bulk can will clean up really nice and a coat of clear coat will make the can look even better. This rare can will be a great addition to your gas & oil collection. I will be shipping this can through Fed Ex (ground) and the cost to ship will be $23.00. Thanks for bidding and good luck!
