In 1883, Theodor Fahrner, Jr. took over his father's firm in Pforzheim, Germany, which had made rings since 1855. They began making other jewelry from 1887-1985. Fahrner passed away in 1919; the company was bought by Gustav Braendle. The Deco style jewelry that the company is best known for was produced in the 20s and 30s. The company was destroyed during WWII and all records were lost, but production continued through the 1960s, and closed in 1979. They were a major producer of styles from Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Art Moderne, Arts & Crafts, and contemporary styles, and exported to cities like London, and throughout the U.S.. Shipping for first class will be $7.00.
