Rare Tiffany Sterling Trio Tazzas

This is a rare opportunity to own a trio of sterling silver tazzas of exceptional quality and craftsmanship. I acquired the tazzas from long term employees that resided with Mr. & Mrs. George T. and Deo Dupont Weymouth. Deo Dupont Weymouth's Grandfather is Alexis I Dupont. ( 1843 - 1904 ) The tazzas are decorated with bell flowers and wheat wreaths. The overall condition of the trio is very good with no repairs or dents. T are only a few expected surface scratches from normal use. The total weight for the trio is 4.4 lbs. OR 65.1 troy ounces of sterling silver. T are two tazzas that measure 10 1/2 inches round by 1 3/8 inch tall, and the largest tazza at a impressive 12 1/2 inches round by 1 3/8 inches tall. Each of the tazzas are stamped with a MADE FOR TIFFANY, STERLING, and the number 2909. Although unconfirmed, through many hours of research and previous auctions for single tazzas, it apparent that the tazzas were designed and made by the renown NEW YORK silversmiths of GRAFF, WASHBOURNE & DUNN. It was not uncommon for Tiffany to commission high quality items to be made and sold at their retail stores in New York.
