The items up for bid in this collection are 1) A very old KKK Booklet (let me say now, that I do NOT uphold anything that has to do with this booklet or it's writing !) This booklet has 8 pages. The front states, "Knights of the... Ku Klux Klan from Atlanta, Ga. and is very graphic. It is a call for men from the Imperial Palace from a Col. W. J. Simmons, the Imperial Wizard. Inside is the "Imperial Proclamation" and the "Kreed" in the other pages, it goes on to outline to discuss membership and all kinds of things. I DO NOT WANT TO OFFEND ANYONE WITH THIS, PLEASE !!! This was in this collection of certificates in the attic of my great grandparents house, and I just thought that it might be something of value, since it is so old. You can view it in one of the pics, it is in extremely good condition. 2) This is a certificate from the "State Police of Crawford and Erie Counties, Pennsylvania" it is dated 1922. It seems that this certificate gives my great grandfather certain authorization to pursue and arrest people. 3) T is a large certificate that states "Certificate of Farm War Service" it is very interesting and is dated 1943 and is signed by the Secretary of Agriculture and the County U.S.D.A. War Board. 4 & 5) The oldest of these certificates is from 1897. It is a certificate of promotion for my grandfather. The next one is a "Certificate of Honor from the First Presbyterian Church dated 1907. As you can see, all of these certificates are quite old, however they are all in very good condition. They would be great additions to a vintage collection ! Should you win this auction, you will be Extremely Pleased.
