If you are a collector of the highly sought after and extremely difficult to find Upsala Ekeby Zebra pattern designed by Eugen Trost then this is your week. Not only do I have cups an saucers up for auction that look like the day they were made, but I have plates. Yes you heard me, plates! I have NEVER had or seen a plate in this pattern. Please be sure to check out my other auctions for additional cups and sauces and SIX plates.Fresh from a fine local estate comes an ansolutely superb Upsala Ekeby cup and saucer set in the Zebra pattern. As anyone who collects this exceptional Scandanavian modern pattern knows, it was only made from 1956 to 1962 making it rather scarce. The porcelain also crazes very easily making pristine examples nearly impossible to find. This cup and saucer set in in absolutely PRISTINE condition. T is NO damage and NO crazing. The cup measures approx 3" in dia x 2 5/8"and the saucer measures 5 1/4" in dia. This is a slightly smaller size than the ones normally seen. I believe this to be a rather rare set.
