GENIUNE USMC ISSUE

KA-BAR STYLE

COMBAT FIGHTING KNIFE

EXTREMELY RARE

UTICA CUTLERY CO

THIS KNIFE WAS ISSUED

IN WWII AND UP THRU

THE KOREA AND

VIETNAM ERA

MILITARY SURPLUS

USMC MARK-2, KA-BAR TYPE COMBAT FIGHTING KNIFE

UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT ISSUE

USED BUT STILL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION

THE BLADE MAINTAINS 70 TO 90% OF THE PARKERAZTION (THE BLADE IS THE GRAY THAT IS SEEN ON MOST OF THE WWII ISSUED KNIVES), A COUPLE OF TINY PITS ON THE BLADE AND THE EDGE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION DOES NOT SHOW ANY SIGNS OF ABUSE. (IT HAS A NICE EDGE BUT COULD USE A RE- SHARPENING) CROSS GUARD IS JUST A LITTLE LOOSE BUT WILL TIGHTEN UP AFTER THE LEATHER HANDLE HAS BEEN OILED, THE BLADE LOOKS LIKE IT HAS RUST ON IT BUT IT IS NOT RUST, DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT I AM SURE IT WILL CLEAN OFF. WE DO NOT CLEAN THE KNIVES WE SELL THEM JUST AS WE RECEIVE THEM FROM THE GOVERNMENT, THE SHEATH IS THE ORIGINAL THAT CAME WITH THE KNIFE WHEN WE GOT IT FROM THE US GOVERNMENT AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION (I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS THE ORIGINAL SHEATH THAT WAS ISSUED WHEN THE KNIFE WAS NEW, IT LOOKS TO BE IN TOO GOOD OF CONDITION).

MILITARY ISSUE KA-BAR STYLE, MK2 FIGHTING KNIFE MADE BY UTICA CUTLERY COMPANY, ONLY A FEW OF THESE WERE MADE BY THE UTICA CUTLERY COMPANY. THESE WERE ISSUED TO THE MARINE CORP PERSONAL, (OR THE USMC GRUNTS) THESE WERE USED IN WWII, THE KOREAN ERA AND WERE ALSO USED UP THRU THE VIETNAM ERA.
