This auction is for a Betty Lou Nichols Head Vase called "Valerie". She stands just over 8-1/4 inches tall. She is signed on the bottom "Valerie" by Betty Lou Nichols. By feel and visual, I do not find any chips, cracks, hairlines, so if t are any nips, they are so small that they would not be an issue on this item. She has clear overall crazing, which is almost always seen in the vintage Betty Lou pieces. Her colouring is wonderful. She doesn't appear she was ever used as a vase. She's just lovely. I work another job, so if I do not get back to you, should you email me, and you are not sure about bidding----PLEASE DON'T BID Paypal is my friend, but has also been a painful friend. Because a buyer gets "buyers remorse" or did not ASK ????'s ahead of time, or did not look at the pics provided to decide their bid, is not a reason to file a complaint with Paypal. Only if I have intentionally mis-represented my item should a buyer file ANY complaint. Read the description, Look at the pics provided-And ask ????'s. If you are unsure of any of these issues----PLEASE DO NOT BID, To my friends outside of the United States- I will ONLY ship to you via United States Post Office, with Global Priority, and Insurance is required. It is expensive, but I have had too many problems. If my policy does not meat your needs---PLEASE DO NOT BID. I did find a flake (approx 1/8th" X 1/8th") off of the bottom front of her yellow dress. It blended in because it is next to the white area so I did not see it the first time I looked it over. It can be fixed or just left alone. This head vase lists very high and is well worth investing with high bids.
