Welcome! Up for your consideration is a beautiful vintage 1800's piano stool. The pedestal base is cast iron and the seat is wood. T is about 3" of padding which feels like either horse hair or possibly straw. The cast iron pedestal is in excellent condition without any damage or repairs. I would also say the pedestal & legs have the original paint as t are some areas with cracking in the glaze along with some areas w the paint has wore off. This is a extremely rare find! Description: Vintage piano stool. The stool adjust from 19" tall at its lowest point up to 23" tall in the highest position. The higher it is the more wobbly it is. This stool may be partially disassembled for shipping . This piano stool is fairly heavy. Approximate measurements: The stool is 19" tall at its lowest position and 24" tall in the highest position. The base has a 17" diameter foot print. The stool cushion has a 13" diameter. The padding on the seat is 3" thick with the total thickness of 4" . Markings: Pat 15 May 1866 Condition: Good condition for its age. See description above for further info on the condition. Additional information: Keep in mind that when dealing with any vintage cast item that t may be casting flaws. I will declare all major casting flaws that I find. If payment is made via checks or moneyorder then you are expected to use the e-bay checkout system to confirm the payment status. If the payment is made via a personal check, the item will be held for up to 10 business days or until the payment has cleared. Returns: Item(s) are sold "as is". I will refund the purchase price only, shipping cost both ways will not be refunded. I will refund only if item was incorrectly listed or misrepresented in the description. You must contact me within 3 days of receiving the item before any refund will be considered and before return shipment occurs.
