I'm getting married and selling many of my family antiques. This is a very rare Bellova/Emeralite etched table lamp produced by H. G. McFaddin and Company. The lamp is in its original condition, including the cord and plug. My great grandfather purchased the lamp in the 1930's and it has been in my family for approximately 75 years. It is almost 14" tall, the mushroom or 'Coolie-hat' glass top measures 9 1/2" at the widest point. The base of the lamp is made of metal and is covered on the bottom with felt. The lamp is in wonderful condition. The shade is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or nicks. T are some paint flecks on the stem and base w the paint appears to have worn off in places, but they are small dots for the most part. The lamp works just fine but the lamp should be rewired if you want to use it, as some of the wires are explosed near the base of the plug. The shade is clearly signed with a silver ink stamp about the size of a dime. The signature consists of what appears to be a four petaled flower in the center of two concentric circles. On the outside top edge of the circles is the word BELLOVA and on the outside bottom edge of the circles is the word CZECHOSLOVAKIA. The number '392' is also stamped in silver next to the signature. The mushroom or "Coolie-hat" glass top is decorated in a floral Art Deco style in shades of russet brown, chamois, orange, blue and green. The top is covered with a delicate lace pattern in light brown and white. This is a beautiful lamp in beautiful condition and I know you'll be very pleased with it. I'm selling the lamp at no reserve. Happy bidding!
