Rare Limited Edition Boehm Bird with Flowers in Porcelain & Metal *** Offered at No Reserve! *** This auction is for a rare and unusual piece by Boehm which we believe was originally produced in the 1980's. The piece measures approximately 9 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" deep. The underside of the bird is hand signed "Boehm" and also numbered "40260". The underside of one of the leaves bears an oval shield reading "Limited Edition Boehm England". The bird looks like a yellowbreasted warbler and is composed of porcelain. It is perched atop a metal branch with metal leaves which look like bronze. Stretching upwards are delicate porcelain Whitebell flowers attached to metal stems. Please note, we are selling this piece in 'as is' condition because one of the bird's metal legs is missing. Otherwise, it is in good condition, without any other chips, cracks, or repairs to mention. We do not have the original box or paperwork to match this figurine. This is a delightful piece and would make a lovely addition to any collection. Please feel free to email with any questions or requests for further pictures.
