As Her Husband Knew Her 4 Pioneer Families Carringtons and Fishers Holloways and Battert by William Thomas Carrington ~ Printed in the early 1930's..This Rare book is about one woman by her husband and the history of their 4 Pioneer families.. He writes it was a labor of love.. The book is signed To Charles Rufus Halloway With Devotion and Kinship Feelings From W. T. Carrington March 28, 1932. The size of the book is about 5 1/8 inches by 7 ½ inches and 5/8 of an inch thick and has 125 pages.. The outside binding is in wonderful condition, the pages are yellowed but I do not see any foxing on the pages ~ a few pages are soiled.. The glossy photo page is not attached at the bottom correctly (about 1 7/8 of an inch at the bottom is detached ~please see photo). The pages have a rough cut (please see photo) and other paper flaws which I believe was done by the printing company.. I would call this a vanity book of its time.. Family roots are from the states of Missouri, Kentucky and Virginia.. The book has a dedication page That reads: To my sons: Dr. William J Carrington Atlantic City, N.J. Paul Carrington Attorney, Dallas, Texas In Loving Memory of Their Mother Mary Holloway Carrington.. I believe the book was printed between 1930 and 1932..
