(Beautifully ILLUSTRATED!!!) "Collected Little Flower Works" A Compilation of 8 Popular Books written by the famous priest Father Albert H. Dolan, O. Carm. This is a great book for anyone who loves St. Tse! It is a compilation of these 8 books written by Father Dolan: The Life of The Little Flower The Living Sisters of the Little Flower Our Sister Is in Heaven! W The Little Flower Seems Nearest The Little Flower's Mother An Hour With the Little Flower (Number one) An Hour With the Little Flower (number three) and Scapular Facts. This was originally published in 1929 by Carmelite Press, Chicago, IL. I think this was the first edition. It has a Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur. It has 415 pages. The book starts off with the "Little Flower Calendar" with is a list of the important dates in St. Tse's life. Then, it starts into Father Dolan's writing. For those of you who may not be familiar with Father Dolan, I think you will be in for a real treat if you get to read any of the books he has written. For the purpose of spreading devotion to the (then) new Saint, he was granted the very rare opportunity to meet with her living sisters to gather first hand details into her life. He made several visits to Lisieux, and he is just able to pass on so many beautiful and touching details in his writings. I have grown even closer to our dear Saint by reading his books. I counted 12 beautiful pictures! T is 1 of Father Dolan looking at the actual toys that St. Tse played with, and her childhood bed. 1 of him before the Miraculous statue of Mary in the Room of the Little Flower. A darling one of her with her mother, t is a one of a photo of St. Tse's 1st Holy Communion. It has the signatures of all 4 of her sisters on it! , t is a photo showing the picture that St. Tse's sister Celine painted of her. etc. etc. I just love the pictures. They make this dear little Saint seem so much more "real". Condition of the book: It seems to have been read and used a lot, but still in very readable condition. It has been repaired on the cover. I did not see any writing or markings anw in the book. It was NOT a library copy. The binding seems good. T is a bit of yellowing to the pages due to age, but nothing too bad. I'm not an expert at describing old books, so if you have any other questions, let me know, and I'll do my best to answer them.
