Rare Vintage Dunlap Crockery Bowl-Columbia Metal Products Co. Chicago, ILL This handsome Dunlap crockery bowl is in good condition. It looks old probably because it is. My mother used it in her kitchen for many years to whip cream and make pancakes, etc. A work horse of a bowl, it is relatively heavy and is glazed in brown on the exterior. The interior is of pale gray and in the center it's labeled in a circle: Columbia Metal Products Co. Chicago, ILL -in the center of that: Dunlap Bowl. T appear to be pop marks and glaze skips created in the firing process on the exterior of the bowl. It has what appears to be a small chip on the interior, but it could possibly be a flaw when being made. Also, on the base it appears to have two tiny flea bite chips in the glaze--and also on the bottom part of the rim on the top. These bowls are wonderful to collect, and also never go out of style to be used in the kitchen. It is 7" across the top in diameter and 3-1/4" across the base in diameter and 3-3/8" tall.
