A rare vintage Hamilton watch with a spectacular old (50's/60's) Modernist Sterling silver band made by New York/Boston jewelry designer Ella L. Cone. A truly head turning watch! The band appears to have been originally made for a woman named Pati. The band is marked with Cone's name as well as 'XTO Original' and Sterling. The watch is marked as being 14k gold filled and has an inscription on the back of the previous owner. T are four stones I believe are beautiful opals. T appears to be some damage to the opals (see pics) but it is possible that that's how they originally were. The watch is still running when wound, but I'm not positive how accurate the time kept is. Overall the watch and band are both in very good condition. The length of the band, including the watch, is approximately 9". I'm not certain if the intricately linked chains are silver as well.
We are offering this beautiful Modern (borderline Punk rock!) watch band and watch for a very low starting bid and no reserve!
