For auction today is a true sacrifice, this wonderful old paper mache pig that's been around for years with me. I don't know the exact age because I bought from one of our fine antique shoppes almost eleven years ago. Way before mass production of copied art! First let me say just how large this piggy is; he stands: 9" HIGH is 21"Long and has a circumference of 20 1/2"AROUND! T are unlimited possibilities as far as decorating and display;; not to mention the 1st place prize winner of any collection! The detail that went into this pig is astounding, from the wrinkles around the neck to the ripples down the back...his eyes are painted with leather ears that is very old and somehow looks processed in a way to match the pig; the tail is hemp I think also with paper mache tip. I paid 300 DM's for this and I list now with no reserve a very modest opening bid! He is in great condition and has been kept very well. This is the sort of thing you buy from eBay open the crate and out comes something even better than ever expected; in other words...my pictures shy in comparison! NO holes. cracks or repairs, stored and cared for with much care. Shipping to the USA will be $39.00, German regular postal charges that includes insurance. Anyw else please request quote.
