up for auction is a very cute vintage Christmas Collectible Cookie Jar, no markings, a gingerbread house with matching salt and peppers (they still have the original purchase tag of $39.98 on them). A little history first, this is from the collection of a dear 72-year old widowed woman, she and her husband collected for over 40 years. He built her shelves in their kitchen to display above. He passed away about 3 years ago. She has decided she can no longer keep up with the 100 cookie jars they collected, she kept a few and is selling the rest. This wonderful Cookie Jar and matching Salt and Pepper sert is in great conditon! T are no chips or cracks, very clean, nice heavier pottery, never used! Has some spots of paint wear, mainly across the candy cane on the cookie jar, the rest seems to be in super condition! Took several pictures. Vibrant colors, it measures a little over 9-1/2" tall and is about 8" wide. One of my Favorites, just love the colors and matching salt and peppers which were tucked away in napkins inside the cookie jar. Great Collectible items too!
