You are bidding on a Rare Original MIRA Single-Comb Disc Music Box and 40 Discs. This early 1900's Mira Disc Music Box is in very good condition, however, cosmetically it does show some knicks, minor scratches and a broken rear corner on the cover as seen in photo. Otherwise, it is a very nice looking piece considering that it is over 100 years old! The solid wood mahogany box is completely sound with tight joints and great hinges.It has not been restored or refinished in any way, shape or form. It still has the original Mira print of abeautiful river scene with the Mira logo located on the underside of the lid. It winds up tightly, has good sound but, t is a skip or pause at times when played.May be something minor to repair such as a spring or tension setting.It is in tune and t are absolutely no missing or broken teeth.The original Mira crank/handle is included. It also has a swing-latch enclosure on the outside front of the box.The outside dimensions are approximately 10-1/4" wide by 8-3/4" deep by 6-3/4" in height. Plus forty (40) music discs are included in this sale.The 6-3/4" diameter discs are also in perfect working condition and are also pictured in this listing. Music box and discs will be shipped in two separate boxes. The reserve price is way to low for this rare musical piece.Seller wants to part with this item! read more
