Vintage 1920's Tomato Character Teapot Porcelain Stamped on bottom with the Maker's Hallmark and The words "Made in Japan" 6" Tall x 9" Wide Porcelain I believe My Mom remembers this when she was a kid and she was born in the early 1950's. It's been in the family for many, many years. I have never seen one like this before. The smiling face is so unique and adorable!! Everything that I have found about the marking on the bottom is this: (This is information only from my own Internet Research and is not 100% guaranteed) Moriyama Mori-Machi This MM MARK, stands for 'Moriyama Mori-machi' and has been referenced to the Moriyama Factory at Morimachi Shizuoka Prefecture Japan. Similiar colored items have been dated to the early 1920's From what I can see it is in perfect condition. No chips/cracks Item will be carefully packed for it's journey to your home!!
