PRAIRIE FARMS DAIRY PITCHER Up for Bids is a Prairie Farms Dairy "MILK" Pitcher. This Pitcher has the word "MILK"and the small "REAL" stamped in blue on the front. On the back is a cows head with a ring and the words PRAIRIE FARMS DAIRY INC. It stands approx. 8" Tall and 6" at the Bottom and weights over 3LBS. I don't know the age of this pitcher, I'm afraid to guess. I haven't had much luck finding information on the internet on this pitcher. T is a stamp on the bottom with USA 3051 that I can make out, or USA 30S1. This was purchased about 15-20 years ago at a sale w they were selling a bunch of antiques. The Pitcher, I believe is Glazed Ceramic and has No CHIPS OR CRACKS and is in very good condition. Prairie Farm Dairy started back in the Late 30's, I don't know if this was made for them when they started up as "give aways" or made at a later date. I don't know how many of these were made, but these could be RARE. This would make a great piece for the collector or to displayed as decor in your kitchen. This will be package well for shipment.
