This is a rare vintage railroad caboose stove that is in excellent condition with no rusting, cracks or chips. A great piece of railroad history that could be placed in your home or mountain cabin. I have no ideal what railroad used this stove, but we had several of them around these parts to include the ACL, SCL, Southern, Aberdeen & Rock Fish, Norfolk Southern (not affiliated with the Southern Rwy) and other smaller lines.Anywhoo, this stove is marked patented in 1895. It is marked on the top "Spears New Sun Beam Railway Cabin Car Stove" and "14 Saturn". It is made of cast iron and stands 32 inches to top of smoke outlet and is 23 7/8 inches in diameter. Its crated weight is 165 pounds, so check the Freight Quote calculator for your shipping costs.Paypal not accepted.
