Rare Roma Comport, unmarked, circa 1914. Dainty floral pattern with tinted red and green on ivory background. One of the stems has two tight hairlines, (pictures 3 and 4). T is a shallow 1/4", (mostly paint chip), at the bottom of another of the stems, (pictures 5 and 6), two tiny (1/8") paint chips on inside rim which I couldn't get to show up in the pictures. Normal crazing for pottery of this age. 6 3/4" tall, 6" across the top. Lovely piece of Weller, despite the flaws, starting low bid with no reserve because of the flaws. This shape can be seen in another pattern on page 221 of "The Collector's Encyclopedia of Weller Pottery" by Sharon and Bob Huxford.
