This is a seven day auction for a rare Welch clock reference book by Tran Duy Ly, the only in depth study ever published for clocks produced by both the E.N. Welch & the Welch, Spring Clock Cos. Highly detailed & profusely illustrated, this book provides an invaluable source of reference material. It, as my photos show, is loaded with illustrations of & information for clocks in all catagories manufactured by these companies. Material has been reprinted from actual company catalogs as well as close up detail photos provided of various important & highly sought after clock models such as the Patti series, important calendar & weight driven regulators. Also shown are pictures of the various components of these clocks such as movements, case details, labeling, etc.. Highly educational, this reference book becomes an important tool when it comes to properly identifying these clocks & their components, especially when purchasing a piece for your collection. Offered to you at NO RESERVE. The condition of the book is excellent. What prevents it from being outstanding is a small 1 1/4" rip in the top left hand corner of the cover. This also extends into the first 3 pages stopping @ the table of contents & that's it. The spine of the book is solid & none of the pages are coming out.
