Up for sale is this early 1900's Westinghouse brass electric fan. It has its original brass cage and brass blades. It even has the original brass Westinghouse center cut out (a lot of these were lost or broken) this one is in great shape. The cage is in great shape along with the blades no bending or denting. The brass badge reads, Westinghouse Electric and Mfg C0. Pittsburg PA USA, Alternating Current Motor 100-110 votls 60 cycles STYLE # 60677 Serial # 341597 Pattented Dec 26, 1893, Oct 9th 1906. The fan does run and puts out some serious air. It does tilt with the original brass turn mounts on the side. The original switch plate on the bottom is missing (see pic) so it does run at full speed only when plugged in. These plates and the switch that sticks up through the cast base are easy to replace, Besides this the only thing I see wrong is that it is missing one of the tiny pointed brass screws that attaches to the face of motor (see pic) this is a 2.00 dollar buy. This fan looks untouched and is in great shape, I have done nothing to it besides splice a wire to its original cloth wire to make sure she runs!! I only let it run for a couple of minutes. The brass oil-grease holders need to be refilled. The fan runs smoothly!! I will ship the brass cage and blade seperately from the cast motor and base. She is a heavy fan weighing almost 22 lbs. If you only want the cage and blades to save on shipping price I can do that also. This is realy an awesome fan that could look very sweet with a little restoration, its paint is great with just a little paint chipping along the base and edges. Shipping will be through USPS and be packed in two separate boxes for 25.00 Bid with confidence 100% positive feedback!! As usual money back if not satisfied!! If only wanting cage and blade shipping will be 10.00. Let me add some extra info. Shipping price of 25.00 is for lower 48 US only!! The 4 metal arms that attach to the cage do have black paint loss. This is a great fan and any other questions you have please ask. I will not end auction early!!!
