A great opportunity to acquire a complete and working '33 Ingersoll Wirelug Mickey Mouse Wristwatch in its late '33 "Critter Box'.This watch sports leather straps with Mickey charms and is still wearable (though best stored away in a collection), the fore-strap being a bit stiff.The watch face, a little yellowed, displays the correct design with the large numerals 5 and 7 above Mickey's knees, as the '33 Wirelug Ingersoll Mickey should have. It has its original low domed glass crystal set in the wirelugs Art Deco styled bezel. The watch sets, winds and runs though not timed or tested over any longer period than 12 hours, it does keep reasonable time. The 'Critter Box' issued in late '33 is in reasonable condition though slightly damaged on the front left edge of lid as pictured (some attempt has been made to reinforce this area), it is still soundly intact with insert and guarantee slip included, and is a sound investment in its own right. The watch and box are sold as displayed, and will be carefully packaged, though insurance is optional it is recommended, thanks.
Has since been serviced, tested and worn... runs regularly and is keeping good time . Note the detail showing the correct and only face design with large Numbers 7 and 5 above Mickey's knees for the Wirelug Mickey Mouse Watch. The later deluxe version faces used small 7s and 5s below the knee, (Ref: )
