Rare and Iridescent Apatite on Limonite Pseudomorph after Pyrite This is a very unusual and very rare crystalline cluster, 1.8âe by 0.7âe by 0.5âe from Pakistan. He is a series of penetration cubes, all in a slender and curved string and he is a rich, chocolate brown color. When you pick him up, t is a familiarity about him and yet not. This is the case with pseudomorphs âe" they look like what they were âe¦ sort of âe¦ and what they are âe¦ sort of. He certainly has the pyrite shape and structure, but heâe(tm)s not metallic in the least. And his color is solid, not reflective. Now, the real treat comes from the little clusters of golden apatite sitting among the cubes! When the light hits them just right, they are iridescent colors!! To one side are two little crystals of black tourmaline and a few slender rods of rutile! What a beauty!! Pseudomorphs are wonderful in that you get the benefits of both species. In this case, the limonite energies mesh perfectly with the pyrite to ward off psychic attack. He also has a warm and earthy feel, allowing you to better know your Soul center, providing grounding and clarity of role. His apatite is a glowing, golden shade, warming the heart and banishing fear as he works.
