RAREST 18thC CIRCA 1790 WEDGWOOD WATTEAU INSPIRED HAND PAINTED CREAMWARE CUP This Week We are Listing a Collection of English Porcelain & China Gorgeous Cup Dates to the late 18th Century between 1770 and 1795 . Imprinted Wedgwood Marks as shown... A rare piece - lovers in garden drawing inspiration from Watteau. These rare pieces decorated in this style are highly prized by collectors and appear in the famous Wedgwood reference works. It is beautifully painted - most likely by one of the famous Wedgwood artists. Couple in garden and floral and bug painting Lovely purple lustre detail to rims / handle. Overall in very good condition for age with minor age wear to enamels . 60mm high and 55mm in diameter ( not inc. handle). A piece of rare quality which should be in a museum.
