I am offering these wonderful earrings, made by Ming's of Honolulu, for your consideration. This is a pair of Vintage Painted & Carved Preban Ivory "Peony", firmly mounted in Gold-Overlay Sterling Silver w/ 14k Screw-back Earrings. Yes, they are properly marked . Condition : Excellent , considering the age of this exquisite pair, decades of care, apparent. Please keep in mind, that vintage pieces are obviously considered secondary-market items, so normal wear, fading, patina, etc., should be expected. As for repairs & restorations, t are none that I can find; except for the fact that the screw-back part of the earrings could have been replaced w/ solid 14kt screw-backs , either by Ming's of Honolulu or another jeweler. Item will be sold in AS-IS condition, and I will leave any adjustments & removal of the patina, up to the new owner, as to keep it in as-original-condition-as-possible; for the sake of maintaining its value. Dimensions : Approximately 29mm at its highest x 22mm at its widest. (Approx. 1 1/4" H x 7/8" W). Please see my photos, (although, I must admit, they do not do any justice for these mesmerizing pieces!) A MUST-SEE, MUST-HAVE ITEM...a perfect addition to any COLLECTION! (But, BEWARE! If this piece does, indeed, become your very first Ming's Ivory Jewelry item...the addiction to its beauty & craftsmanship will keep you "on the hunt" for years to come!
