Up for auction is this Metal PIG BANK for the RATH EMPLOYEES CREDIT UNION. Dated 1933-1983.This cast figure is made of some sort of pot metal, which has been colored copper in color , and covered by a clear lacquer. The bank has a foot print of approximately 2.25 x 4 inches, and stands nearly 3.5 inches high. The metal cover is held down by 4 one-way screws, and has a rectangular plastic plug with a coin slot. The bottom is stamped " c 1974 Banthrico Chicago." This bank is in very good condition. It has a couple light scratches in the clear coating, but these are superficial, and easily rectified. Sold as is. Buyer pays all USPS Parcel Post, shipping and handling. Insurance is optional at buyers expense. Thanks for looking.
