Ration Check 1945 Citizens State Bank Calvert, Economy Grocery - for sugar T are six ration checks on the bank, signed by The Economy Grocery which was located in Calvert, Texas. T are also several receipts for checks used and the first one is made out to The McLane Company. Dated June 23, 1945. Sports fans should know the name Drayton McClane. Before the mcClane name was famous Mr. McClane used to sell groceries out of the truck of his car and one of his stops was Calvert, Texas, which was near his "home office" in Cameron,Texas. TheMcClane receipt and the one under it have age damage but the rest of them are okayl. All the paper shows signs of age, but almost all of it is in good shape.
