Rave Magazine is one of the classic 60's UK music magazines that focused on all the great groups and artists from the 60's. It features articles, photos and full page color pinups of the stars as well as other items on fashion and teen romance along with great period advertisements that really capture the feel of the era. Marianne Faithfull - GREAT cover photo for starters, with headline "Marianne - What Went Wrong?". PLUS... "What Went Wrong?" - 5 page feature article with loads of great Marianne photos. True fans will not want to be without this one! The Beatles - feature article, "Would You Believe - 10 More Years Of The Beatles?" This is a RARE feature article in that it addresses the tail end of the Beatles career before Paul made his announcement of leaving and clearly shows that the members planned on continuing as a band. Paul says, "I'm a Beatle and The Beatles are a band. Full stop....being a Beatle and writing songs, that's what interests me". George says that his plan to record a solo album "doesn't mean I'm leaving the group...I'm a Beatle for life". This is a different perspective than the one which seems to have become the accepted version and, as such, is a fascinating article.
