Rare Old Print The Raven (Corvus corax) byEric Fitch DaglishFrom his classic 1948LIMITED FIRST EDITION OF 1500 A series of prints from his Engravings / Woodcut / Wood-cut / Woodblock / Wood-blocks of birds; perfectly executed. Ideal for framing A typical product of the incredibly stylish1930s and 40s woodcut print 'movement'. Daglish was a member of the Society of Wood Engravers; others include his friends Eric Gill and the Nash brothers . Condition: As per picture (VG / EX for age) (Book plates / illustrations; no text on the reverse, trimmed)Individual prints titled but not issue-numbered; Size: of image as seen, approx.:4 x 7.5 inches(plus margins) N.B. Unlike my poor photos, the prints are sharp; some apparently warped edges are the result of camera lense distortion...
