If you collect or use good spurs take a look at this offering. These are handmade spurs by Ray Anderson. Mr. Ray is 80 years old and retired from the spur making. He made these when he lived at Weatherford, Texas. This is number 1351. He only made a few over 1500 pair. This pair has a little wear but are in very good condition with no repairs or breaks. He mounted with Sterling and had a distinctive deep style of engraving. 1'' bands, 2 1/4'' shanks, 1 1/2'' rowels, and 3 3/16'' heel openings. His quality of workmanship and boot fit make his my favorite to wear. He is featured in the Ned and Jody Martin Modern Maker's book on pages 62-63. |
