Raymor Bitossi Italy Art Pottery Covered Bowl Raymor was a New York based importer of decorative wares. Most if not all of their items were made in Italy. Bitossi produced their art pottery. This bowl's design is attributed to Aldo Londi. Molded form with applied "jewels". the bowl and lid have a textured, almost metallic appearance. The applied jewels in varigated blue gloss glaze. The interior of the bowl and the underside in a milky glaze finish. Marked: "Italy, 875". The form and style of this covered bowl leads to the Raymor/Bitossi attribution. CONDITION: No chips or cracks. DIMENSIONS: 5 1/2" tall with the lid in place, 6 1/2" maximum diameter. Weighs, 2 pounds, 7 ounces. A great mid century covered bowl.
