Up for auction is this impressive Italian ceramic table lamp by Aldo Londi for Bitossi and imported by Raymor.This is just an amazing lighting fixture. This piece features a hefty ceramic base with a dark red glaze [ yes dark red, the photos show a bit orange ] at the top and bottom with a grey, hand embossed pattern in the center. A brass neck leads to a single socket. Incredibly well made, we estimate this lamp weighs at least 20lbs The scale of this piece, measuring 34' tall to top of socket and the incredibly hard to come by vintage rope shade which we are including, will make this an excellent statement addition to any modern home. Piece measures: 34" tall to top of socket 16" wide [ shade on ] Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No flaws woth mentioning.
